Nike is giving the Air Force 1 a very New York makeover. The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 ’01 “Subway Rat” takes inspiration from one of the city’s most famous subway residents.
The playful sneaker mixes shaggy suede with bright pink details. It also includes pizza graphics, a MetroCard-inspired hangtag, and a rat-tail detail at the heel.
What Does the Nike Air Force 1 “Subway Rat” Look Like?
The sneaker uses a College Grey shaggy suede upper. The textured material covers the toe box, side panels, Swooshes, and tongue.
Pink Glaze accents add a fun contrast. The color appears around the Swoosh, midsole, and translucent rubber outsole.
